Tips to PREVENT the Common Cold this Fall!
Many people catch a cold this season. The change from warm summer, to dry, windy cold in fall, makes us susceptible to many kinds of infections. While there is no “cure” for the common cold, there are things we can do to prevent it, as well as speed up our recovery time.
The best way to stop a cold, is before it starts. Are you getting enough rest? Is your diet allowing proper nutrients? Are you covering-up and staying dry on those cold rainy days?
If “no”, you need to do those things! But don’t stop there.
Acupuncture is proven to reduce stress, and boost your body’s own immune system. By doing this you allow your body to rest, and recover so it can do its job better than before. Thus, you reduce your vulnerability to seasonal illnesses. Think of it like updating your anti-virus software on your computer, only for your body.
Do you have any questions? You can learn more at our website , or contact us directly. We are very dedicated towards educating people about Traditional Chinese Medicine, and how it can help keep you in good health.
