Acupressure Points to Strengthen the Wood Element
Regular acupressure is a simple exercise you can do, that will help with circulation and organ function. Using steady, moderate pressure, for thirty seconds, then on to the next point. Do the left side first, then the right side.
The first point is on the Gall-Bladder Channel it is called GB37, on the outer part of the lower-leg. Imagine a straight line from the bone of your outer-ankle, all the way up to your knee-crease. Now, on this line, find the point 1/3 of the way up from the ankle, and press right into the bone. Massage this point heavily, for 30 seconds on each side. This point benefits the eyes, reduces headache pain that is around the eyes or migraines, helps with breast pain.
The second point is on the Liver channel, Liv14: very close to the liver itself. Massage the point below the sixth rib, about 1 hands-width directly below the nipple. This is best done while lying down. Do this again, for 30 seconds on each side. This point is indicated for depression, acid regurgitation helps with depression
Doing these acupressure points each morning, and night will help with feeling relaxed and balanced during this very “woodsy” time of year. It is fast and easy. It improves circulation, and it helps you better cope with stress; keeping these organs functioning as they should.

Acupressure can be used for children and adults alike. Acupressure, although effective will not have as lasting results as acupuncture. This is a great combination to do for this time of year!
